ACTIVITIES

Adventure Kids Camp offers a wide range of activities to our campers when we aren't swimming, on field trips or engaged in other structured programming. Your child will have access to a number of activities whenever we are back at St. Albans.

Centers

• Arts and Crafts - Our art room provides paper, paint, clay, you name it! Each week we also provide a theme-based art project for all campers.
• Computer Lab - 5 machines loaded with age appropriate, non-violent programs
• Reading Room - Hundreds of books for every age, interest and reading level
• Mad Scientist Lab - Will provide campers with a variety of counselor-guided activities that supports budding scientists.

Outdoor Exploration

A favorite of our campers is to head outdoors and explore the surrounding park and creek areas with the staff. Bring your old shoes to camp because wet shoes can be expected!

Rainy Days

One of the advantages of having both indoor and outdoor facilities is that rainy days don't bring us down! Impromptu ping pong, crab soccer or monopoly tournaments help keep boredom at bay. We have even been known to make use of the rain for outdoor play and art activities.

Outdoor Play

Kids will be kids! Our on-site outdoor space is large and enables us to play large group games, volleyball and basketball to just name a few activities.

Highlights

At least once a season, we get a serious Monopoly tournament going, with everyone bringing their favorite version as well as the standard classic. (New York Ave. with a hotel is still $1,000...)
